Today I research Baroque looks for my beauty and the beast collection here are some of my findings:

Cinderella Photoshoot

Today's photoshoot was of the Cinderella out at the festival/ball wig, I think I managed to get some good beauty shots and the wig looked good on camera, though I found it looked better from the side or back rather than the front, as you can see here, the wig looks like and older hair style on camera from the front whereas, the side is more bridal and elegant which is the look i wanted to achieve.

FACE CHARTS

These are the face charts for the Beauty and the Beast practice make-up shoots, the designs for beauty are more classical with the red lip and naturally contoured skin. Beast's look follows the conventions of male make-up with the base, I have then added shading around the eyes and exaggerated the brows more than usual, a model with facial hair could also exaggerate the beastiness of this make-up look.

Step Sister number 2!!

These are the steps of ugly step sister 2, starting life as a blonde/brown afro wig from Amazon, the wig was brushed out, the same principle was applied for padding out the hair and the same felt making process used. whilst doing this it was found that Tesco own hairspray or Wella was most successful in sealing the hair together. purple jumbo hair was threaded in and backcombed and stretch over the side sections of hair. Blonde human hair was sewn into the back of this wig and curled using heated rollers for curls down the back of the models neck.

Making the Ugly Step Sisters!!

 These are my step-by-steps of ugly sister number 1, here I used a 80's crimped wig bought from Fun Fancy Dress in Poole, (here is an image of the wig from their online shop), to make this wig I backcombed the centre of the existing wig to form padding, I then made some hair felt, using jumbo braid hair from BuyHair, hairspray and a hair dryer for the heating element. I then cut and rolled the felt into tubes and sewed them on to the existing wig around the padding.
